Our horses used to stand where the sandbox is now. Today Tay (big and old), Bianca (small and brown) and Maartje (small and white) are standing on a meadow between the main square and Lake Anna. You can feed the horses with a few blades of grass but please with nothing else - otherwise they get a stomachache!
Our horse girls from the village help us with the work with the horses. When these are there, the campground children are also allowed to help out or even ride. So feel free to bring riding or biking helmets and sturdy shoes if you're up for some horse work.
Next to the horse meadow is our playground. There are two goals for playing soccer and our table tennis table. So feel free to bring balls and rackets. Since we have the play area, we ask that no ball games be played on the tent lawns or in the common area out of consideration for others (people and tents).
In the common area there is also the sandbox with the playhouse and an expanded construction trailer. So parents can relax and have a cup of coffee while the little ones dig in the sand!
In the construction trailer there is a large table with benches for painting and playing and a small lending library with books from mother's rich collection. Especially when it rains, you can pass the time wonderfully here.
The best playground for children is and remains nature! Especially the older children love to run around Lake Anna, build huts there or climb trees. Of course, landing net fishing on the shore is always possible.
Important even if it is difficult: If possible, do not run on the tent meadows. Tent cords and protruding tent pegs are nasty tripping hazards and a real potential hazard.
A "pump track" for bicycles has been built right next to the parking lot on Niersstraße. By shifting your own weight, the course can be ridden without pedaling. A real challenge for small and big cyclists.
